Leinght of the cloth

Leinght of the cloth Normally the cloth is supplied in rolls of variable lenght according to the type and final use; the lenght can vary from 25 m to 100 m and more.

Width of the cloth

Width of the cloth The standard width (or height) is 1 m, but our equipment enables us to produce cloths of variable widths, according to the type, from 13 mm to over 3000 mm.

Number of the cloth

Number of the cloth Each wire cloth is defined by the NUMBER of meshes (free opening + 2 half wires) in a given unit of measure.
The most important numerations are:
FRENCH NUMERATION (N.P.F.) n° of meshes counted in a metric inch of mm 27,77
ENGLISH NUMERATION (Mesh) n° of meshes counted in a linear English inch of mm 25,40

Also used in Italy:
ITALIAN NUMERATION (NIT) n° of meshes in 50 linear mm

WE ADOPT THE FRENCH NUMERATION

As well as by the number of mesh, the type of cloth is characterised by the diameter of the wire wich determines the opening of the mesh, its passage surface and weight. Warp and weft can have different diameters.
